Ingredients
- Potatoes (peeled and cubed ) 1 cup
- Rava 3/4th cup
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- salt - to taste
- eno - 1tsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- mustard seeds, urad dhal,asaefotida - for seasoning
Procedure
- Grind potatoes with sour curd, lemon juice
- Then add it to the rava or semolina.
- Let the batter sit for 10-15 mins.
- If it looks very thin, add a little more rava.
- Then add seasoning with mustard and urad dhal.
- add a pinch of asaefotida
- add turmeric tot he batter
- Not heat an idly vessel with water.
- add eno to the batter.
- Make sure that the batter rises well.
- Add the batter to idly pans and cook for 15-20 mins.
Ravaidlies are ready. Enjoy with any chutney!
