Here's are the typical ingredients/ veggies used in dwadashi paaranai.
Below is a picture of basic ingredients. Mango vathal (for mango vatha kuzambu is optional)

- Greens (Agathi keerai)
- Raw banana
- Black Pepper
- Tomatoes,Lemons, Mango, Indian Gooseberry, Curd (as a supplement for tamarind).
- White pumpkin
- Turkey Berry (Sundaikkai (Deworms the stomach and is good for health)
- India Gooseberry (Rich in iron)
- Coconut(s)
- Sesame oil. Coconut oil, or Ghee (no her oils must be used for cooking).
